GETTING HERE
…
By Air, by Land, by Rail (OK: or, by Sea if you
really want) |
Fly to Bellingham (Recommended):
Flying to
Bellingham is usually $110 (RT) more than flying to Seattle. But, the
shuttle from Seattle to Bellingham costs $70 (RT) and takes longer overall.
We'll pick you up at the airport (BLI).
Bus or Train to Bellingham:
Greyhound and
Amtrak stop in Bellingham, too.
Fly To Seattle:
Rent a car (2
hr drive), or take the
Airporter Shuttle ($70 RT) from Sea-Tac airport in Seattle to Bellingham
(comparable cost to a connecting flight to Bellingham: $110 RT). They run
hourly, but best to reserve on-line or call ( 866-235-5247)
ahead for a reservation. You are going to the VAL-U INN in Bellingham.
We'll pick you up from there.
Fly To Vancouver:
Airfare is
usually more expensive. If you plan on visiting Vancouver, consider renting a
car in Bellingham (1-1/4 hour drive + border delays). Otherwise, there are
3 shuttle options:
Amtrak (Near airport & downtown: $13 one way): We'll pick you up at the
Bellingham train station.
Greyhound (
downtown to downtown),
or QuickShuttle (
airport to airport).
Both are $17-$23 one way. We'll pick you up here at the bus stop.
Drive:
To The Firs
Conference Center at 4605 Cable St. Tel: (800) 765-3477.
F rom
the south (Seattle), take the LAKEWAY EXIT from I-5. Turn immediately
right (south) on King St. Proceed one block to the light at Lakeway Dr.
Turn left (east).
From the north (Vancouver), take the LAKEWAY EXIT from I-5. Turn left
(east) on Lakeway Dr.

Proceed 3 mi. east on Lakeway Dr. to The Firs, 4605 Cable St. (on your left).
Note: Lakeway sneakily changes it's name to
Cable just before reaching The Firs. If you find yourself going down a
fairly steep hill and your feet become wet, you are at the lake, and have gone a
little too far. Retrace your route back to the top of the hill.
